Due to unforeseen circumstances our Wednesday, January 27, guest speaker Niki Robinson speaking on “Fred Hutch COVID Science and Safety” is unable to join us. We hope to have a presentation from her to share at a future date.
NOTE: On Wednesday, January 27, we will still hold our 8-9AM Networking/Member Ask a Member event in large and breakout room format. This is a great opportunity to share with others what you are working on, challenges you might face, and resources that you need. Our members have a wealth of expertise which we all benefit from. If you are not registered please do so to receive the login credentials. Open to all but must register at orcanw.org

Member Ask A Member - In the first hour of the next ORCA webinar, we will be hosting our first "Member Ask A Member" event where members can ask each other anything! All regulatory, quality and clinical topics in the areas of biologics, biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, research development and clinical studies are fair game. Send your questions in advance to outreach@orcanw.org and we'll be sure to address them during our live event.

Fred Hutch's COVID-19 Response - Keeping Employees Healthy and Science on Track.
SPEAKER: Niki Robinson, Vice President and Deputy Chief Operating Officer
SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY: Dr. Niki Robinson is responsible for all strategic planning for Fred Hutch and leads several administrative teams that support and accelerate its science. These teams include Facilities & Operations, Business Development & Strategy, General Operational Services and Strategic Project Management for the President & Director’s Office.
In her role leading Facilities & Operations, Robinson oversees Campus Planning & Construction, Environmental Health & Safety, Property Management, Engineering and Maintenance to build and maintain a seamless infrastructure to support cutting-edge research and services across Fred Hutch.
Dr. Niki Robinson, vice president and deputy chief operating officer, oversees Business Development & Strategy and leads several other administrative groups, including Strategic Project Management for the President & Director’s Office.
As the head of Business Development & Strategy, Robinson seeks to build the strongest possible bridge between the scientific discoveries at Fred Hutch and new or existing companies that can most quickly and efficiently bring new diagnostics, treatments and cures to patients. Her work in this role has led to a fivefold increase in invention disclosures and a doubling of commercial licenses. Robinson also provides leadership for General Operational Services, which includes Meeting & Event Services, Security, Transportation & Parking, and Travel.
Prior to joining Fred Hutch in 2015, Robinson led business development at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She began her career in technology transfer at the University of Chicago, where she also received her Ph.D. in cell physiology.
