TOPIC: Program Management in Clinical Trials

TOPIC DESCRIPTION: Effective project management can provide structure, transparency and predictability in clinical trials. We will walk through project management frameworks to demonstrate how these can be applied, regardless of phase, trial design or therapeutic area. We will include examples of how we implement tools and methodologies to manage scope, deliverables and timelines in vaccine and infectious disease clinical trials at Fred Hutch.

SPEAKERS: Kelly Maddox and Rachel Choi

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY:

Kelly Maddox is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in SCHARP at Fred Hutch. After project management and consulting roles in finance, consumer goods and media, Kelly came to SCHARP to apply her project management expertise to a field that directly impacts global human health. Kelly leads clinical trial and strategic organizational projects.

Rachel Choi is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in SCHARP at Fred Hutch. After completing her undergraduate degree and early research in chemistry, she discovered her passion was in supporting (not conducting) science.
